We’re built on a commitment to community — whether here or abroad, we are committed to making a difference.

Steadfast Spirits Distilling Company (“Steadfast Spirits”), home of Trouble’s Moonshine, in Concord announced the launch of a limited-release spirit, Trouble’s Blueberry-topped Lemonade Moonshine, to extend their commitment to providing community support by raising funds for Save the Children’s Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund.

Inspired by the colors of the Ukrainian flag, Trouble’s Blueberry-topped Lemonade Moonshine is a 54-proof unaged whiskey that’s been made into a ready-to-enjoy lemon-based spirit topped with liquor-soaked blueberries. Donating 20% of sales of a selection of available whiskies, including the new spirit, to aid the children affected by the crisis in Ukraine this upcoming weekend, the team at Steadfast Spirits knows just how important community support is, no matter the geographical distance.

“Our hearts are shattering for the families of Ukraine, especially those with small children,” says CJ Lundergan, owner of Steadfast Spirits. “As a father of two young children myself, I can’t begin to imagine the strife these families are experiencing. We are raising money to show support for some of the most vulnerable and affected populations. The children didn’t ask for any of this, so although we may not be raising a million dollars, we want to do what we can to make a difference.”

Aligning with many other distilleries and bars around the country, the dubbed “trouble makers” at Steadfast Spirits have also crafted their own version of a “Kyiv Mule” cocktail — a revised recipe of a Moscow Mule in support of Ukraine.   Although not available as a full beverage at the Steadfast Spirit’s tasting room, patrons may enjoy a sample cocktail prepared for them that features the new spirit along with Trouble’s Traditional ‘Shine, ginger beer, and lime juice.

From Friday, March 11th through Sunday, March 20th, community members are welcome to show their support of the cause through a visit to the distillery.  Fundraising activities will include 10% of every tasting flight as well as 20% of the following bottle sales:

  • Trouble’s Limited-Edition Blueberry-topped Lemonade Moonshine
  • Trouble’s Traditional ‘Shine
  • Trouble’s Harvest ‘Shine
  • Trouble’s Peppermint ‘Shine
  • Trouble’s Peach Cobbler Moonshine
  • Trouble’s Cherry Pie Moonshine
